Comparatively speaking, it's really cheap to run for office here as we don't use TV or radio ads. just a bunch of signs, A few ads in the paper and a lot of knocking on doors. I can think of only one candidate who MIGHT have had dollar support from others. Most candidates prefer to pay their own way, there's a lot less paperwork. Next reason?
