There's little doubt in my mind that the legislature or the administration will attempt to "fix" this again by increasing the number of credits needed to graduate. This hasn't worked yet and in my opinion just increases the number of classes a student must take in a given length of time. Since the number of hours in a school day and the number of days per school year are finite, perhaps it would be better to DEcrease the number of credits needed and INcrease the length of the class period so that the student spends more time learning the most necessary skills. "More" is not always better.
