CHAMBER NEWS
P.O. Box 405 Cusseta, Ga. 31805
The Presidents Corner

Hello Chamber members and friends. Once again I have to say that we at the Chamber are amazed how fast this year is moving. Boy! It is mid-April already! The Chamber has started work on welcome bags to give out to all new residents of our county when they apply for water service. This bag will be filled with all our area business information (that is if your business is a member of the Chamber of Commerce). We feel this will introduce your business to the new residents and tell them just how important they are to you. We had a big town hall meeting on April 20th at the Recreation Center to update all citizens on the rapid development plans for Cusseta-Chattahoochee County. The meeting was very important and informative.
The Camp-Read-A-Lot program at the school was a huge success mainly due to the number of Chamber members that volunteered their time.
Take note of the Business Highlight this month and support them.

Valley Partnership Presents Program to Chamber
At the Chamber of Commerce meeting Monday night, Becca Hardin, Executive Vice President of Valley Partnership, and Dayton Preston, Senior Vice President, presented a program on Valley Partnership and how it impacts Chattahoochee County. Valley Partnership brings to its members the planning expertise and guidance of its very capable professional staff.
County Commission Chairman, Larry Dillard said that membership in Valley Partnership allows us to have an industrial development program that we otherwise could not afford. Hardin praised the current leadership in Chattahoochee County and the advances being made since consolidation. Preston pointed out that Dallas Jankowski is the Valley Partnership Chairman and complimented the close working relationship they have with County Manager Doug Westberry.
